About Us

At Karisandrea Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering girls and women in Kenya, including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi and Makueni counties, through education, economic opportunities, and social support. Founded on the belief that every girl and woman deserves the chance to thrive, we work to break cycles of poverty, inequality, and gender-based violence by providing practical tools, mentorship, and safe spaces for growth and development.

Our programs focus on key areas such as Education, Empowerment of, the youth, young girls and women, Empowerment of PWDs, Nurturing talents and sports. Below are more of Karisandrea Foundation Mission:

Education & Scholarships – Supporting girls to stay in school through financial aid, school supplies, and mentorship. Skills Training & Economic Empowerment – Offering vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, and small business support to help women become financially independent. Health & Wellness – Promoting reproductive health education, access to essential health services, and mental health awareness. Advocacy & Rights Awareness – Educating communities on gender equality, human rights, and the importance of protecting girls and women from harm and discrimination. Rooted in the vibrant coastal community of Malindi, our foundation collaborates with local leaders, schools, healthcare providers, and grassroots organizations to reach those who need support the most. We believe in the power of local solutions and the strength of women lifting each other up. Together, we are building a future where every girl and woman in Malindi can live with dignity, purpose, and opportunity.
